Every year in May, lots of flower fans swarm into Yokohama Town. Yokohama Town boasts the largest area of 150 hectares across Japan, dedicated to canola flowers, or nanohana in Japanese. Here you can also see a unique and well-known scallop-shaped building, very popular among drivers as a good place to rest.Visitors can buy vegetables picked that morning, foods made with sea cucumber and Japanese scallops, and souvenirs. Featured products here are canola flower donuts from JA Women Group and soft ice cream made with 100% milk from local ranches.
