With Mutsu Bay spreading to the foothill, Yokoshiyama is a ski hill located to the east of central Hiranai town. There are courses for beginners to advanced skiers and a lift can take you from the foot to the 180m’s summit in about 6 minutess. Then you can slide down across the white snow while enjoying a thrilling scenery of the mountains and sea! On the left side of the lift, there is an open slope for sleds, even small children can have fun. In summer, the ski slopes will be used as super slides and for roller skiing.
