The traditional Tsugaru Puppet Show ""Kintamamejo"" was created in 1907, by now it has a history of more than 100 years.The name ""Kintamamejo"" is not just a name at all, the word ""mame"" (豆) or ""beans"" in English, the word ""kin"" or ""gold"" in English, the word ""ta"" or ""many""  and the word ""jo"" or ""warehouse"" in English together indicate that people who work hard can make a huge fortune and building a large warehouse.Funny thing is that the name ""Kintamamejo"" is also a combination of two people's names, ""Kinta"" and ""Mamejo"". Kinta is though an alcoholic, still, he is very compassionate. Mamejo is forgetful and careless but a very rational man. while the two are performing a Manzai (a traditional style in Japanese culture similar to double-act comedy or stand-up comedy) together with Tusgaru accent, they would always grieve or being sarcastic about the bad things happening in the world, but at last, they would just have a laugh about it.
