The Nebuta Museum WA-RASSE is located at the North of JR Aomori station. With the concept of ""Nebuta connects towns, people, and hearts all together"", the facility aims to keep the Aomori Nebuta Festival alive and make more people discover the beauty of Aomori's unique traditional culture. The museum has not only become a recreational place but also a spot where the tourists can communicate with the locals.
● The Nebuta Museum: By watching the video clips and enjoying the exhibits inside, you can easily understand the origin and history of Nebuta as well as the history of the town that is as old as the festival.
● The Nebuta Hall: On display are four shiny Nebuta floats that were once used in the festival. Tourists can learn how to dance like a real Haneto dancer as well as watch a live performance of Hayashi (a group of performers who provide musical accompaniment).
