Tsuta Onsen is a secret hot spring that has been popular for about a thousand years.It is one of the few 30 sites across Japan where the hot spring bubbles out from the ground. The bathtubs here are made with Japanese beech and are placed directly on top of the hot spring water source. In this way, visitors can enjoy the authentic spring that does not touch the air.
