Here in this village, you can take a close look at Hirosaki Nebuta floats, and learn how to make a goldfish lantern, a Tusgaru pottery and Nishiki-e (a type of Japanese multi-colored woodblock printing) all by yourself. You can also enjoy the live shows of the Hayashi (囃子), a group of performers who provide musical accompaniment, or the Shamisen, a three-stringed traditional Japanese musical instrument.Local vegetables, apples and rice are all available, as well as the handicrafts.
