Morning Market in front of Mutsu-Minato Station, Hachinohe / Hachinohe City

This Morning Market in front of Mutsu-Minato Station, Hachinohe, opened in 1953, attracts people from both Hachinohe City and regions around. The fresh fish and vegetables have always been nourishing their bodies. Walking through the market, you can hear the fish sellers talking with each other in a dialect that only spoken among them. These people are called "Isaba-no-Kaccha",
which means the "Mother of Fish Business". Breakfast consists of Sashimi (fresh raw fish sliced into thin pieces), a bowl of rice and Miso soup is something you shall never miss.
