The Sanriku Fukkō National Park is located in the Takenashi Coast, and designated as a national park on 24 May 2013. Right in the middle of it lies a natural lawn. The entire land was originally covered by the lawn, but with the sea waves splashing against the coast day by day, the lawn starts to recede. To the north of the natural lawn, there is a coastal trail (around 3.2 miles) that has been chosen as one of the best 104 streets by the Ministry of Construction in Japan. Walking along the street flanked by pine trees, you can have a fantastic view of strange rocks around. The camping site is available from April to October every year.
